A Thanksgiving Poem
~ by Katie, age 9

It’s Thanksgiving day, but the turkeys won’t stay!
The Thanksgiving food is running away!
Potatoes and stuffing
Are running around
The cranberry sauce is headed for town!
“We just have to stop them!”
Said Farmer O’Brown.
So he took out his fork
And his kitchen knife too,
And had a nice big pot
Of turkey stew.

Thank you for being a part of my family’s life and for joining us on this journey. I am grateful – today as always.

Great poem! I am thankful for you and all of the other members of our “village” who have supported me and encouraged me during my short time here. Peace and blessings to everyone. Thank you, Jess.
